Starting from a system developed by ECT, this report deals with searching
for better and cheaper solutions for higly automated container handling
systems. This seems to be possible.
The system is meant to be applied on ECT's Delta Terminal.
The alternatives will be examined, tested by simulation models and compared.
Besides that the initial starting points will be reconsidered.
