Invloedsfactoren op de slijtage van gietijzeren tractieschijven.
Literature survey,
Report 86.3.2074.TT, Transport Engineering.
Creep, the main cause of sheave wear, will develop between the traction
sheave and the rope, because of the difference in strain between elevator
rope ends. Factors which can influence this wear are in the first place
the hardness and structure of the materials, the roughness of contact
surface and the contact pressure and, besides the friction rate,
lubricating oil and abrasion powder, if present.
Except by changing these factors in order to reduce the wear, application
of synthetic groove liners can be considered too.
