Report 86.3.OS.2103, Transport Engineering and Logistics.
This report deals with the different ways of subsea control, specialy on the
subject of control systems for valves of well-heads, blow-out preventers and
manifolds. The working of the different systems is explained and a
classification has been made concerning the way of signal and energy
transport. The subject of monitoring and the problems with electrical
connectors and umblilicals are discused.
The last chapter deals with the expected developments for subsea control
systems.
