Different concepts of production control can only be compared when the
structure of the production organization is known. Therefore first
give a bird's eye view of several structures of production organization
is presented. Secondly, the flexible production automation is discussed.
Then the production control among the production divisions will be
examined, for example the series production of compound products. These
production chains require high demands of material supplies for each of
the production divisions.
Finally the production control within a single division will be handled.
Central attention will be given to the Job-shop production because the
production proces of this structure is the most difficult to control.
