This rapport starts with a description of the functions, working and
calculation methodes of the components of a winch.
This description is followed by a description of the designs of the 10- and
18-winch. These two winches are designed according to the principle of the
38-winch.
In addition a description of a theoretical and experimental investigation of
the centrifugal brake is given.
