The computer program KNIPSIM1 is a product of this computer assignment.
KNIPSIM1 simulates the cutting of steel pipes. The computer program produces a
diagram of the cutting force versus the cutting indentation.
Improvement of the assumed deformation and cutting theories is possible in the
future, using both the computer diagram and results obtained from laboratory
experiments.
Based on the experment results, modification of the assumed theories will
follow in order to develop a theoretical model with which extrapolation to full
scale will be possible.
