Most of the palletized fruit that enters the Netherlands through the Port
of Rotterdam, leaves by truck. An alternative mode of transport is
rail-road-transport, because of the large transport modules that are used
in this kind of transport. Among the further objects of investigation, the
rail-road-transport should alse be investigated.
