The transport of cold-stored and vulnerable flowernursery products and
horticulture products is fast, irregular and seasonal. Multimodal rail/road
freight of swap bodies, whereas roadfreight is used exclusive for last phase
transport, is to be considered as an useful alternative. Wagons can be loaded,
either direct at the auction, either at a central terminal preceded by a
not-road-bound transport (monorail).
