Werktuigen voor intern horizontaal transport op containerterminals.
Literature survey,
Report 92.3.TT.2999, Transport Engineering and Logistics.
A container terminal is a link in a transportation chain. When the
transportation chain is considered as a system, then a container terminal can
be conceived as a subsystem. The container terminal can be studied separately
and is considered as a black-box.
In this report a survey is made of the different transportation equipment,
being more or less capable of fulfilling this function. To make a selection
from the available equipment a number of aspects of the equipment has been
illustrated, so different tyoes of equipment can be compared. The terminal
operator now has the opportunity to make a choice of one or more types of
equipment matching his wishes and demands.
