This report describes the testing of two inventory control models. The testing
is done with the help of a for this purpose developed simulation program.
Many inventory control models assume stochastic demand. The replenishment is
always deterministic with fixed lead time. In this report some models with
stochastic replenishment are discussed and tested. The replenishment can
arrive partly one period late.
The models can be used to calculate an approximation of the replenishment
policy, if the established service level is over 95%. When set lower than that,
the models are too inaccurate.
