Grijperlierwerken: motoren en regelingen.
Masters thesis,
Report 92.3.TT.3039, Transport Engineering and Logistics.
The winches for the grabbing operation are usually by electric motors. The
choice of these motors is always determined by state-of-the-art technique to
realise controls/converters.
It is desirable to utilise the capacity of the electric motors. Field weakening
is a method to realise this objective. It makes it possible to run motors on a
higher speed.
The standards for cranes concerning elektric machines are not always
interpreted in a right way. A correct interpretation can save money.
A practical case: the crane which has to be delivered by FIGEE to Hamburg
shows a lower trolley drive capacity can be installed.
