Trends in de ontwikkeling van de container kadekraan.
Literature survey,
Report 94.3.LT.4314, Transport Engineering and Logistics.
The flow of goods is increasing over the whole world. A still increasing
part of this flow of goods is transported in containers. The goods are
transshipped more and more in a few harbours in the world, the mainports,
and from there the goods are transported to oher destinations.
As a result of this, the container ships are been made still larger. However,
they have to leave the harbour as soon as the old smaller ships. This makes
higher demands on the load/unload facilities, such as the containercranes.
As a result of this, new developments are going on, concerning the container
crane. Some interesting developments are described in this report.
